“GARDEN PARTY”

STORYTELLING EVENT & WORKSHOP

Thursday, April 8
10 a.m.-12 noon

Everyone welcome.  Registration is appreciated.

Wear your favorite (fancy or plain) garden hat and join us for a fun morning as we listen to stories told by nationally renowned author and storyteller Judy Sima and her “Parent Tellers” group.  They will delight you with their favorite stories in a round-robin fashion.  A short informative workshop is included that is perfect for anyone interested in the art of storytelling.  Don’t have a garden hat?  Don’t worry!  You can decorate one to wear at the party.  Refreshments provided.

MAD HATTER’S TEA PARTY

Saturday, May 1
1:00-3:00 p.m.

Recommended for school age boys & girls

Pre-registration is required.  Seating is limited.

Boys & girls are invited to make a mad “crazy” hat to wear while enjoying afternoon tea.  We’ll listen to “A Mad Tea-Party” from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.  Tea specialist Pat Sagert will talk us through proper tea etiquette and prepare her own blends of organic herbal teas.  Join us for a whimsically fun afternoon.
