2010
is the year for the U.S. Census, so Sid the Census Centipede
visited the Library and left his footprints all over.
Boys & girls are invited to count or make a guess of
how many footprints Sid left.
Participants will receive an “I Count” sticker and a
prize.

STORYTELLING
EVENT & WORKSHOP

Everyone
welcome.
Registration is appreciated.
Wear
your favorite (fancy or plain) garden hat and join us for a fun
morning as we listen to stories told by nationally renowned author
and storyteller Judy Sima and her “Parent Tellers” group.
They will delight you with their favorite stories in a
round-robin fashion.
A short informative workshop is included that is perfect
for anyone interested in the art of storytelling.
Don’t have a garden hat?
Don’t worry!
You can decorate one to wear at the party.
Refreshments provided.

HATTER’S TEA PARTY

Pre-registration

Seating is limited.
Boys & girls are invited to make a mad “crazy” hat to wear
while enjoying afternoon tea.
We’ll listen to “A Mad Tea-Party” from Lewis
Carroll’s Alice’s
Adventures in Wonderland.
Tea specialist Pat Sagert will talk us through
proper tea etiquette and prepare her own blends of organic herbal
teas.
Join us for a whimsically fun afternoon.
