FREE
CHILD-SAFE WEB BROWSER FOR HOME USE
Yes, it's
free! Visit the Library and download "ELF," a web
browser designed by Advanced Workstations in Education
(AWE). ELF is used in the Library for children's Internet
access. ELF features strong web-filtering with a
kid-friendly interface that includes great educational websites
and fun games. Plus it's easy to install and use. Copy
the installation file to a USB drive, take it home, and install it
on as many PCs as you like.
FREE PASSES TO STATE PARKS
DNR
and Michigan’s libraries are once again teaming up this summer
to offer free one-day passes to any of Michigan’s 98 state parks
through the “Park & Read” program.
Just present a valid library card at the Library to get
your free pass.
