Be Creative: Express Yourself @ Your Library

June 15—July 30

Free programs for all ages

Registration begins Monday, June 15

Boys and girls ages preschool through teens are encouraged to include reading in their summer fun.  Registration will begin June 15 and continue through July 30.  The goal is to read one hour per week for six weeks.  Reading packets will include a reading log to record minutes and titles.  Upon completion, participants will earn a coupon for a Walled Lake Big Boy burger, fries, and a sundae, a clock bookmark, and a certificate of accomplishment.  Learn more about the Summer Reading Program here.

Macy's and the Cultural Alliance of Southeastern Michigan has made possible this great opportunity for families to visit metro area museums and other cultural institutions at little or no cost.  Pick up free admission passes at area public libraries through October 2009.  For more details, visit www.detroitadventurepass.org/
